Thank you, Painter. The coaching staff has been preaching a very similar messege all week. Actually, all year! This team has had a unique ability to stay focused on the task at hand. This week, they are truly only concerned with Clinton Co. Are they confident, I'd say yes, but only because they believe in themselves and each other.

My wife and I enjoy spending the off the field time with the boys on Thursday nights. You can really get attached, as if they were your own. I was dreading the playoffs, because that means these young men will soon be done as players and I can't seem to accept that yet. They were the Sophmores when I started helping the football team and I just kind of went through them growing up as fine young men. These boy's parents should be extremely proud.

 

My wife and I know that feeling well. Our boys started their ram career when they were 9 and 7. We were deeply involved with ram football till they graduated. It's heartbreaking when it's all over and you hand the reins over to the upcoming parents.

Well Rams, it's another Thursday/ Game day eve. This is the eve of a New season, the one that really matters , the first season got you here and now it is up to you as to whether you want to continue or not.

 

I guess my question for you is this....Are you satisfied with what you have accomplished and feel that you have made the statement that you wanted to make?....that you could go unbeaten, win a district, beat Ashland and rivals, Fairview, LCA and Russell? I so, then you have accomplished all of those things and have joined other past Raceland teams that have done these things as well. All have been done before and all have been done more than once at Raceland.

 

Now my next question. Do you want to go out and make a run at some things that have never been done at Raceland before? Just something to be thinking about bc you have the opportunity to do just that.:thumb:
