Trinity 65 Lafayette 0

Lafayette gets coaxed to jump on the "T" by their head coach prior to the game....65-0 final....

Trinity ran 42 plays for 384 yards.....

Lafayette ran 38 plays for 22 yards.....

Even if Lafayette was a threat to T, the psychology of T-hopping is about as stupid as stupid gets. Congrats to T. Shame on Lafayette's coach.

very impressive.

QB Smith tossed, ran for and caught a TD! CAn you recall the last Trinity QB to do that?

I'm sure I'm not the only one who thought this would be a major blowout. From their season stats, they seem to be offensively challenged, why would they add fuel to the fire, they should know stopping on any logo in the city of Louisville is an automatic loss.

No surprise here

As an outsider, who didn't pay attention prior to the game, my question is: "what did they have to lose?" I could see it possibly giving them (Lafayette) some enthusiasm.

Just a thought/question.

Bluto,

It just seems like any team who disrespects the mid field logo in Louisville ends up losing. I know it's happened at least once at Trinity (Henry Clay) and the Cards have had a pretty good record when opponents do the same. Apparently they take that type of behavior pretty seriously in the Ville.

Poor judgement by the coaches to allow this conduct

Great win for the Rocks.

Lafayette had only allowed 9 points a game coming in to last night.

Trinity scored on all 10 of its possessions before letting the clock run out to end the game.

Looked like a different team last night with everyone back healthy.

On to the playoffs...

Wow, what coach At any level would advocate that sort of behavior? 38 plays for 22 yards......

And this is the best Lexington has this season?

It sounds like some of the Lafayette players should have saved some of their energy for the game instead of the pregame antics.

Across the board, really?
