Morgan Freeman is a great actor.

Gary Oldman wasn't in The Firm

He was in the 1988 TV movie called "The Firm," it was about soccer.

You're thinking of a different "The Firm."

I will watch a Will Smith movie any day.

I vote Hanks but wonder why Robin Williams is not on the list. He's been a wide range of roles over the years.

My top ten in no particular order would be

Don Cheadle

Denzel Washington

Tom Hanks

John Malkovich

Sean Penn

Johnny Depp

Kevin Costner

Russell Crowe

Edward Norton

Gary Oldman

Some have listed Nick Cage and I think he is a terrible actor. I like a lot of the movies he has been in, but I don't think he is all that talented as an actor.

1. Denzel Washington

2. William Smith

3. Eddie Norton

4. Thomas Hanks

5. Samuel L. Jackson

After that is doesn't really make a difference to me.

Exactly what I was thinking when I saw his name!:thumb:

I believe it has one of the best endings to a movie, it would be my top 5.

Tom Hanks

Morgan Freeman

Ed Norton

I have not seen it, but I will definitely watch it and the 25th hour now.

Once you watch it let me know what you think?

I voted for Will Smith.

None of my top 3 are on this list. Top 3 in this order go Ed Norton, Russell Crowe, and Tom Hanks.

Some of the names that have been mentioned I left off because I took them as from my generation, not THIS generation. Meaning those that are 40 years and younger or really came into their own over the last 10-15 years.

Mel Gibson

Kevin Costner

Tom Hanks

Morgan Freeman

Samuel Jackson

Bruce Willis

and similar great actors like these that have mentioned would be examples of ones that I felt was not of THIS generation.

Then I would see an even older generation that would have included

Paul Newman

Clint Eastwood

etc, etc

Mark Wallberg

Add DiCaprio to my list, he's been absolutely outstanding lately.

Yeah, I have to agree, although I never imagined I'd be saying so when he first came along.
