Those are some great characters.

:thumb: He's not the greatest, but definitely the most underrated actor of this generation. He often gets written off as just a Hollywood pretty boy and that's simply not true. He's a very, very talented actor.

Another old fart that is very good is Anthony Hopkins. Quid pro quo Clairisse!!

How in the world could Robin Williams not be on the list IMO the most versitile actor of all time without a doubt. He could play any part and be good at it. Even a woman.....LOL

Some of the names that have been mentioned I left off because I took them as from my generation, not THIS generation. Meaning those that are 40 years and younger or really came into their own over the last 10-15 years.

Morgan Freeman

Samuel Jackson

Bruce Willis

and similar great actors like these that have mentioned would be examples of ones that I felt was not of THIS generation.

 

Then I would see an even older generation that would have included

Paul Newman

Clint Eastwood

Some of the actors on this list are horrible. Sure, they play in great movies and make a lot of money, but the title of the thread is this generations greatest actor. Tom Hanks is the most overrated actor of all time. If you want to see great actors, look at Daniel Day Lewis, and Phillip Seymour Hoffman. Chow.
