October 25, 200817 yr Ha this is whats great about politics. People try to act like they are definitely right about things, and shouldn't vote for this guy. Or you should vote for this guy...That is why I always get a laugh out of seeing things like this, because if things were so obvious about who you should pick. And if someone knew for sure who would definitely be the best president. Then you would think that then that most people would be able to come up with that same conclusion. So many people try to act like they know for sure, and think others are dumb and just don't understand. The thing is no one really knows anything for sure. That is the most truth you will get when it comes to politics. There is no way to tell one way or another, until it happens and plays out. So I don't get why people try to act like that they definitely know for sure how a certain president would do, and who would do best. I mean if it is that obvious, then yeah that person would get elected. However nothing is obvious when it comes to politics, so I don't know why people try to act like they do know. By the way I am voting for Obama.

You have evidently chose to ignore or to not believe ANY of the negative aspects (I asked you to research) of Obama and have no intention of changing your mind to the fact that he is shaky. Many of the hardest Obama supporters will admit he's shaky in some areas. IMO you must not be researching with an open mind. I'm just a dumb ole country boy UKPat02. I first listened to the news and political shows on TV. I then typed Obama in that google thing on my computer and it showed me several things to click on to learn more about him. I looked deep and found some videos as far back as 1995 where he speaks like a true socialist. I browsed factcheck and others for some time to get some help on his economic plan. I also read some excerpts from his books. Listened to people from both sides that I respect...Katie Couric ain't one of them. I listened to Hillary & Joe make some accusations of their own during the primary that I find interesting. I watched the debates, if that's what you want to call them. I listen very closely when he speaks. I don't have a library in my house and the local one just don't have the info that's available right here on my computer. Remember, I'm just a dumb ole hillbilly that lives in the holler huh. Maybe I'm just stupid UKPAt02 and don't know how to "research". Maybe I'm too stupid to form an opinion about Obama that's the same as others. Why the curiosity as to where I got my "research"? You know as well as I how to research someone. You mean the 1611 without revisions or alterations from 17th century English right? Not the Geneva Text which is an older English translation? Not the Greek texts that predate the ones that were used by the KJV Anglicans who translated in 1611? Not the Hebraic texts found in the Dead Sea Scrolls in 1947? Just the literal translation of the KJV which got something as simple as monai mistranslated into "mansions" in John 14:3? In Tim Lahaye's world it is all lining up but I'm not sure about interpretations that are faithful to scriptures themselves. :thumb:
