Not as close as people think. Russell comes out strong.

Is Pawsatt OK? I had heard he got banged up last week?

I hadn't heard that. I was at the game, and I'm not sure I can remember him getting touched the whole game.

Yes, but then they will be winded by the 3rd quarter.

I just don't see Russell stepping up to the plate this week or next. I hope they can get in condition for the playoffs or it will be over quick for them.

This doesn't seem to by your typical Russell team. They don't seem to have good leadership from their players, & they seem to fold up when they get down & things look tough.

Maybe things will change after the Mason Co. game.

Zing!

I hope so because I want to see a great game next week.

Did he not play?If he played in a game and was not touched the whole game that would almost be impossible.:lol:

So how much has Mason improved since the Ashland scrimmage? If they haven't improved drastically this should not be a very close game. Both of Russell's losses came to teams with twice the depth of Russell and to two teams who would win the 3A state championship.

I didn't see a kid on MC's team who I thought would start anywhere on Russell's team.

Ashland would not win a 3A champioship. Just realize Russell is down a bit this year and will still have a respectable year. I do realize that that's probably not good enough for most Russell fans, considering their past success.

This week, take a second look at the Royals QB. :flame:

New O-Line this year for Mason Co. and I have been told the Ashland scrimmage was hard to watch.

They have improved over the year. The Royals were able to move the ball and score against a very good 6A team ( Boone Co. ) and then hung in there with 6A Campbell Co.

Bottom line is I think this years Mason Co. at this point is finally better than last years offensively. This is a young team and it may take another year or two to beef up the defense.

Wow! No sense in even getting on the bus.
