Flea sang "I'm a Little Pea" which is apparently uncommon in their live performances. Strangely enough, a little band called 'Muse' opened for them... but I don't think it was THAT Muse. Can anyone tell me if it was or not?
October 12, 200817 yr The Osmond Brothers at Cincinnati Gardens. I was 8 or 9, and went with my parents and 4 older sisters. I remember my sisters going on and on about the concert, and me in awe of being in the place where the Royals played. The next one wasn't any better, I was about 12 and went to see the Brothers Johnson at Hara Arena with my oldest sister.

RHCP sacrificed their edge when they became a pop band.

October 12, 200817 yr That's because the people who used to go to RHCP shows from the mid-'80s to early-'90s and made them wild gave up on RHCP a long time ago. RHCP sacrificed their edge when they became a pop band. I understand this, and I've accused many a band of selling out myself, but I'll be completely honest, they're my 2nd favorite all time band, and I consider them the 2nd greatest band of all time (yes, they are to mutually exclusive lists of mine). Their popular music has been, IMO, the BEST popular music around in their time. I know a great many people that hold a special appreciation for the time when RHCP was more funky and unique, but I'll take their pop music just as well.
