Those are top[4 teams in that division and we should see how they will pan out after Sunday. I know the Warriors had their first practice of the season today and were getting after it. Once school ball is over they should see more practice time and enter some big tournaments.

Yep, the Bulls only practice with School... Alot of play just comes from what they remember there... If they can handle the man to man and press, they may be able to pull it out?

December 28, 200817 yr Why don't the age match up with that of school (August 1) instead of September? There are kids that have never been held back that are grade exemptions because of their birthday. Better yet. Why don't they just play within an age group and forget the grades? It's funny how I hear certain kids are dominant and 'just in the 8th grade' but if you have closer examination most have been held back or fell a grade. I watched a team the other evening in Middle school and someone noted how a particular PG looked. He is 15 years old playing against a 13 year old. I don't know about you guys but I'm not feeling very dominant if I'm the 15 year old, especially if I'm not dominating. Lace'em up against guys your own age and see where it stands. This kid that's 15? Well after careful research, he would be the oldest kid on his HS freshmen team. The kid would be considered an older Freshmen. So in the scheme of things, he's not really that good. Imagine that 13 year old when he becomes a freshmen or Sophomore. I think he is probably the better player in the long run.

The rules are the rules, play by them or don't play........... We're talking about AAU not KHSAA. No disrespect to catfan or bluenation, but the argument that "it's not fair" or "it's not right" plays into an attitude of entitlement. We should teach our kids to deal with the circumstances they are dealt and teach them to learn how to be successful inside of the rules. That's what sports are all about anyway. Teaching kids how to be successful, regardless of the circumstance. Again, no disrespect, however, it gets tiring to see the same thing hashed over and over every time about this year. Let's talk about AAU basketball, the teams and the players, - NOT THE RULES we agree or disagree with. The latter is no fun! December 29, 200817 yr Even though you don't want to talk about the grade exemption, I find it an odd rule as well. If grade exemptions are okay, why can't you have an entire team of grade exemptions--why are you only allowed three? Also, why are AAU rules for girls different from boys--girls aren't allowed any exemptions.
