October 7, 200817 yr I've checked some South Carolina boards and they all seem to be giving UK little or no chance against SC. They are all predicting, for the most part, SC scoring 30+ against our defense and I just don't see that happening. I think they still regard us as the doormat of the SEC and I'm just hoping that UK knocks them where it hurts.
October 7, 200817 yr I think they still regard us as the doormat of the SEC Lets hope the players feel the same way.
October 7, 200817 yr Run the option with Cobb and Locke! Run the ball. Our coaches crazy logic for not running is this: 1. Our passing game is weak so other teams can stack the box. 2. We can't run because the box is stacked 3. Because the box is stacked we have to pass They also say we can't run outside because there is a safety in the box and because of that we wouldn't have time to run outside so when we do run it has to be up the middle.
October 7, 200817 yr ^^^what he is saying is why I picked the Gamecocks. USC QB was player of the week and is getting better as long as Darth Visor leaves him in there. Good size and nice arm. Will the Cats have a letdown against USC after the decent game against Bama? Will have to score more points and I'm concerned about their Wideouts. USC 21-15
October 7, 200817 yr I was skeptical about UK's talent level until Saturday. They proved they can compete with the best in the SEC; therefore, I'll take the Cats by 7 in this one.

October 7, 200817 yr What is South Carolina winning streak vs UK? I know it's at least seven dating back to 2002.By the way, here's those scores from 2002-2008. South Carolina----42,16,27,12,44,24 and 38. Kentucky---------06,12,21,07,16,17 and 23
October 7, 200817 yr The board I was looking at also had some people mentioning that UK had a "decent" defense. I'm really hoping that UK will take it to them come Saturday, some of these SC fans need a reality check.
October 8, 200817 yr Even though we lost last week @ Alabama, we played one heck of game. It could be a burst of momentum to go back home and beat South Carolina. Especially with the home crowd. Cats win. Cats-24 Gamecocks-10
October 8, 200817 yr Even though UK played Alabama tough, you also have to remember Alabama shot themselves in the foots several times with a missed field goal and several turnovers. It should have been 24-0 at halftime rather than 14-0. With that said, I like South Carolina in this one. Kentucky just can't seem to get over the hump against Spurrier led teams. I'd love to see the UK pull out the W though.
