Pryor is a heck of a player and has a wonderful future in Columbus, but he is still a year away from being a great player. He is bigger and faster than the majority of the players on the field, but another year of maturity will really polish his skills. You can still tell Pryor is a Freshman when he is on the field. Albeit a great freshman. When you watch Green and Jones, you do not feel like you are watching true Freshman on the field.

My vote is for Pryor, but that's hilarious. He is in no shape or form the "unquestionable" best. Julio Jones and A.J. Green are both very close.

Jones and Green are awesome, but they only have to account for themselves. Pryor is running the offense. That's what pushes him ahead of the competition. But hey, this is only my opinion.
October 5, 200817 yr Pryor didn't play early in the year, so I'm a bit hesitant to annoint him the best true freshman. He may be the most talented, though. Julio Jones is a freak. You can't go wrong with either one. I'd have to take Jones, simply because he's been solid all year.

October 5, 200817 yr I think that Julio Jones is the best followed by Green, and Pryor...I also believe that if Victor Anderson stays hot, he will enter this discussion. Gregg Doyel has already started writing about him.
October 5, 200817 yr Jones, Pryor, and Green in any order is fine. Not as impressed with Demps, he's not consistent and isn't on the field as much, he's a big play threat at any time though. Rodgers from Oregon State is a little better, imo.

October 5, 200817 yr Julio Jones the kid is so skilled already as a freshman.. You see what he did against experienced DB's when they played UK. TP is good don't get me wrong but JJ is on a whole new level..

Pryor can make plays with his feet and just when you least expect it he makes a nice play with his arm. He isn't the best passer and he takes to long sometimes to make decisions, but to me he has been the best true freshman looking at the situation and everything. It's not easy playing QB at Ohio State, especially as a true freshman..
