WKU will have trouble scoring. They don't seem to run the ball well and the qb is OK.

 

Without UK turning it over, I'd be surprised to see WKU put 14 on the board.

Southwestern grad Jonathon Belcher is a starting DE for the Toppers.. The Western roster includes a lot of Ky. kids.. I want the Cats to win but I hope Western gives them a good game...

KJ Black didn't play against Murray last week and I'm not sure if he will play this week either, I think its doubtful though. I think WKU is on the rise, but UK wins by 30+.

Something about this game makes me nervous...

 

I was a little nervous about it, until I watched Western play last week. Even though they pounded Murray St. I didn't see to much to be worried about. I really think they will struggle to score in the game. As long as UK don't turn the ball over much. Then it shouldn't even be close.

My understanding is that K.J. Black will be playing quarterback against Kentucky this Saturday. The backup will be Dave Wolke who is a transfer from Notre Dame.

 

I think Western's offense will have some trouble moving against the Wildcat defense, but UK's offense is no world beater.

 

I think Western Kentucky will be emotionally charged to play against UK since many of their player's first choice was to be a Widlcat.

 

My prediction is: Kentucky 30 Western 17

Western Kentucky has lost to Indiana and Alabama, they have beaten Eastern Kentucky and Murray St.
