I think WKU is probably overmatched, but never underestimate the effort they will give in any matchup with UK. The fans bloody hate UK, and that attitude permeates within the athletic program. They will come with fire on Saturday.

I was just at Western this weekend visiting my girlfriend, and I know most of the students there actually love UK. They even said they be rooting for UK when they play Saturday. So I guess you must be talking about people who are not students at Western.

I wouldn't say most of the students are UK fans, but there are a lot. WKU fans would tell you that those that are UK fans, are not WKU fans at all. They're irrational like that. I'm telling you that there are a lot of them that if they had their way, any UK fan on campus would be ejected immediately.

If they love UK so much then perhaps they should go to UK. Just a thought.

My understanding is that K.J. Black will be playing quarterback against Kentucky this Saturday. The backup will be Dave Wolke who is a transfer from Notre Dame.

I think Western's offense will have some trouble moving against the Wildcat defense, but UK's offense is no world beater.

I think Western Kentucky will be emotionally charged to play against UK since many of their player's first choice was to be a Widlcat.

My prediction is: Kentucky 30 Western 17

P.S. Lones Seiber will kick at least three field goals.

He will not be the kicker on Saturday.

He will not be the kicker on Saturday.

That would surprise me.

I think this game could be a very close game...The Toppers did beat MTSU in murfreesboro last year...

That he was & now his little brother is following in his footsteps.

I am not sure about this season but he was has been a big part of their offense and special teams the past couple of years.

He was so hard to tackle.. I remeber watching him his senior year in playoffs.

Yeah, that's pretty much the attitude I'm referring to. I don't see how people can't separate the difference between an athletic rooting interest and an education. It's ridiculous. Why would I be locked into going to a school just because I became a fan of them when I was 5?

WKU did beat Midd Tenn last year. I think its going to be closer than people think, but UK wins.

Fair enough. But don't show up at your educational institutions athletic events flying your athletic rooting interests colors and not expect a little heckling. The other side of that coin, I suppose, is as a WKU student the cost of D1 football is on your back so I guess you can wear whatever colors you want as long as you pay that athletic fee along with your tuition. ;)

I have nothing against UK. But I would not show up at a WKU athletic event wearing UK garb.

Vegas has got the spread at 20.5, can the cats cover?

I don't see them covering that spread, but I could be wrong.

I would like Western Kentucky plus almost three touchdowns........and, of course, three successful Lones Seiber extra points!

I don't see them covering that spread, but I could be wrong.
Are you sure you typed this Deuce,or has someone been messing with your quote?
