Everyone I've talked to that was at the Mason/Boone game says this kid is pretty tough. A little early to compare him to another legendary Boone County RB I'm sure

 

He runs a lot, which only time will tell if it has an affect on him. But he will break at least one per game.

 

Have watched the Simpson kid from Simon Kenton this year as well. A simply amazing game against Dixie.

The offensive line that I saw was very small as was he.

Their overall opponents record is 2-7. Those two wins 1 for Harrison County and 1 win for Tates Creek came against opponents who are currently 0-6 combined so their opposition hasn't been good at all.

What I did see of him was his quickness though, the next 4 out of 5 games will be a tell tell sign for him. They face Scott County, Danville, Madison Central and Henry Clay.

 

Against Danville this past Friday Ryan Williams had 181 rushing yards. Down from his 200+ a game but he is still leading the state. Very impressive to get 181 yards against Danville.:thumb:

If they are too lazy to submit, they shouldn't be listed. It is sheer unadulterated laziness on the part of coaches not to get athletes the recognition they earn.

Actually, he has 1047 yards on 156 attempts and 12 touchdowns in 5 games for an average of 209 yards per game. Keep in mind that he didn't play the entire first quarter against Cooper because of the score. I respect Boone for not padding his stats.

Greer from Bell has 605 yards in 4 games. 9 TD's

I know that Ryan Williams of GRC was the rushing leader. He went down last week with a ankle sparin in the first quarter and will probably not play for 3 weeks. I still like to keep up on who is leading the stae. Would love to see the list posted on where all players stand ...believe new stats come out in the Lexington Hearld on Tuesdays.
