This is garbage. I own several "small" business'...and i am NOT rich! Very few...and I mean VERY few...people make "45 million". Many of my small business' have several employees that make more than I do off the business...and I'm the owner.

I live that stuff every day in my law practice representing businesses out here in the real world. You should try it some time.

I was wondering that myself.

Its not bull. A lot of business owners have to put their personal assets at risk in starting or developing their businesses. Impose very high taxes on their revenues (thus decreasing the possible returns on investment) and 1. the willingness to incur those personal risks drops, or 2. they find ways to maintain their profitability by decreasing the wages and benefits they pay to their employees or they outsource jobs overseas to remain competitive with their overseas competitors that don't have to pay the high taxes or they high illegals willing to work very cheaply. None of those outcomes I think is desirable.

So which is it? Are our businesses a wreck because they pay much more in tax in the US or are their taxes (overseas competitors) higher because of rampant socialism structures and such?

 

Jobs and profitibility of outsourcing has much more to do with cheap labor than tax burden I would venture to say.

Our corporate tax rate I believe is the second highest in the world.

 

A lot of our toughest overseas competitors are not located in the socialized countries that you are thinking of that have the high tax rates needed to fund the socialistic programs.

Let me keep a dollar and I will invest it in a business. Let the government take that dollar, and they will waste it. Guaranteed.

Apparently Biden doesn't believe it's patriotic to give to charities since he has given less than $400 per year to charities in the last ten years but he and his wife have made between $210,000 and $320,000 in those ten years.

Seems strange to me at least, that he wants taxpayers to pay more to the Government in way of additional taxes, but then only gives a small percentage of his money to charities!
