If You're a Bengals Fan...

Is the NFL meaningless to you at this point???

I don't know about anyone else but it feels that way for me. The Bengals have just taken any pleasure I got out of watching a NFL game. I just get this feeling of "disgust/jealousy/numbness" whenever I watch other teams.

The Bengals aren't getting any better anytime soon. It's week 3 and the Bengals are out of the playoffs.

Its going to be a long season.

It's not meaningless at all to me. I love the NFL perioid. It would be better if they were playing well but I still enjoy the season. Plus FF is huge.

I enjoy FF. But I just get this bad feeling that comes over me whenever I watch an NFL game. I think I'm going to take an NFL break for a week or two and then see how I feel from there.

^I am past the point of caring with the Bengals its now that I don't even get mad when they lose. Its just ho hum.

NFL is not meaningless to us.Last night we hunkered around the old transistor radio and listened to MNF in candlelight. It was awesome!

I am quite entertaining. :D

On a serious note, I do not care to watch the Bengals until they show they actually care...not even be good, just show some effort. However, I love watching all Pro football. I love this time of year....no matter how bad the Bungles are.

I still watch the Bengals even though they stink and plus I got 5 fantasy football teams.

I love watching real NFL football, that usually occurs at 4pm and 7pm on Sunday, and at 8pm on Monday.

I can understand what your saying. I do love watching the NFL and any type of level of football.

No that's why I have another couple of teams I pull for. You can lose every season and not enjoy the NFL or you can find somebody on the side to pull for too that actually has a shot:)

Fantasy football is great too!

I felt the exact same way this past Sunday. I didn't even want to watch any of the other games. However, I did watch the Monday night game.

I now play golf on sundays during bengals games. So far this year Ive only seen the 4th quarter of the Baltimore game and thats it. Dont really care to see anymore.

Normally it doesn't matter because my Fantasy teams are awesome, but this year.....

I don't have time to pour over stats every week to do FF, so I pretty much live and die each Sunday with "my" team. It's been sickening to watch the talent we've had, underperform so much.

I thought things would change with Marvin at the helm, but I'm wondering just how much control he has. Mike Brown pulled the rug out from underneath him with the whole Chris Henry deal. And, IMO, they should have fired BOTH coordinators last year. Considering that the defense this year has basically held the opposition to 17 points in each of the first two games...they should be jumping up and down. There's no reason a team with this talent shouldn't win EVERY game that they hold the opponent to 17 or less. This isn't the Bears for Pete's sake!!!

And yet, with all of that said. I'll still be watching this weekend.

The Bengals have had only one winning season in the last 17 years, what did you do those seasons? I hate it when the Steelers have a bad season, but it does not stop me from watching football! There is a reason the NFL is number one... I also love Fantasy football...
