If You're a Bengals Fan...

Just remember that the UK Football team went through years of embarrassment until they won back-to-back bowl games. BELIEVE!

I understand what you're saying as far as perseverance...but I hope you don't think back-to-back Music City Bowls qualifies as the pinnacle of success. It's certainly a step in the right in the right direction...but at least it's more than what the Bengals seem to be doing right now.

Is the NFL meaningless to you at this point???

I don't know about anyone else but it feels that way for me. The Bengals have just taken any pleasure I got out of watching a NFL game. I just get this feeling of "disgust/jealousy/numbness" whenever I watch other teams.

The Bengals aren't getting any better anytime soon. It's week 3 and the Bengals are out of the playoffs.

Its going to be a long season.

I agree, although its been like this my whole life with the exception of 2005 (the best year of my life by far) when we made the playoffs. I have gotten to the point where the weekends literally determine my attitude on the week with OSU and the Bungles. I just try to stay positive and hope for the best.

I still like watching the Bengals, even though I feel like at this point I like my fantasy teams more.

We've had season tickets for over twenty years. Something's getting us to come back. I guess its that false hope us bengal fans get every July/August.

There are still some fun things to watch like Rivers getting better each week.

But the best was watching Whitworth frustrate Haynesworth to the point to where he threw a couple punches on one play, ripped off Whitworth"s helmet on another and got blown back seven yards down field on yet another. I just wish the rest of the line would follow his lead.

The Bengals have had only one winning season in the last 17 years, what did you do those seasons? I hate it when the Steelers have a bad season, but it does not stop me from watching football! There is a reason the NFL is number one... I also love Fantasy football...

:ylsuper:

I waited for UK basketball...:D
