September 14, 200818 yr Most of those yards came on the two long TD passes, and the last play of the game. Still, MTSU showed some holes in UK's defense. 114 yards of the 355 came on those two plays.....he averaged 9.6 yards per attempt.....that's a ton of yards.
September 14, 200818 yr I know it looks bad,but it's still a W. Now the Cats have two weeks to get ready for WKU, and they need those two weeks.GO CATS,but with this win I can only give them a .

September 14, 200818 yr Author 114 yards of the 355 came on those two plays.....he averaged 9.6 yards per attempt.....that's a ton of yards. What two plays are you talking about? The two touchdowns, or one of the touchdowns, and the last play of the game? I'm not arguing that UK's pass defense looked bad tonight, but I think the 3 big plays make the numbers look a lot worse.
September 14, 200818 yr I had the displeasure of watching this farce on PPV. The cats looked pathetic, stale, uninspired, and flat. If they don't improve over the next few weeks, they will get beaten to death when they face SEC opponents.

I think that UK will be just fine in the long run, they simply laid an egg tonight, hopefully those injuries will not hamper them too long.

September 14, 200818 yr Kentucky tried every way possible to lose this game. The only bright spot for thsi entire team is the defensive front. Although they didn't get a sack, they stopped the run. The secondary was terrible, and kicking was terrible, outside of the punter. And no surprise, the offense was terrible. Honestly, I don't think Hartline could pass the ball against no defense. Seriously, in the past two games, he has had six passes that were totally off because he didn't realize the play and the receiver cut back. I honestly have no clue what he was thinking. Tony Dixon is the third best back on this team. Play Randall Cobb whenever he is healthy and never let him out.
September 14, 200818 yr Well, it wasn't pretty but it still goes down in the W column. Just need 3 more to be bowl eligible. Not long ago that in itself was a major accomplishment. Hartline looked a lot better to me. Still has a way to go, but in only his 3rd start I believe he has some potential.
