September 16, 200817 yr Last post for a few minutes... IMO, Joker has ONE mission for the next 13 or so days. He must get Hartline and his WR/TE's comfortable with throwing 10-15 yard passes, especially down the seam. If we can make some progress beyond 15 yards, that is icing on the cake. If we go to Alabama without being able to throw the ball at least somewhat down field, UK will see a safety in the box all night and corners ready to jump the hitch routes. Not to mention you can't run the ball against a talented defense who doesn't respect you.
September 17, 200817 yr I know this probaly isn't the correct thread for information on the UK-WKU game in a few weeks but here is some info regarding TV for the game. LEXINGTON, Ky. -- The UK vs. Western Kentucky University football game on Sept. 27 will be televised live on WKYT in Lexington and WBKO in Bowling Green. Per Southeastern Conference television rules, the live over-the-air telecast can be shown only in the home markets of the participating teams. The game also can be seen live inside and outside of Kentucky (no blackouts) on ESPN GamePlan. In addition, the game will be offered on a delayed basis to Big Blue Sports Network affiliates. The UK-WKU game is set for a 7 p.m. kickoff in Commonwealth Stadium on Sept. 27. Kentucky is 3-0 and has an open date this week while WKU carries a 1-2 mark into Saturday’s game vs. Murray State. This will be the first meeting between UK and WKU in football.
