$4.59 gas in Louisville this AM

Just went up again to $4.15 in Newport.

I hope those idiots enjoy the thousand dollar fines they are going to get, people like that are just a burden on society.

 

I hope they do fine them hard to stop them from doing it again and to stop other stations from doing it in the future.

They reported on Raycom's UAB@UT-K broadcast that the Neyland crowd was a bit depressed because of gas in the $5-$6 range around K'ville. :eek:

 

I didn't really look at the prices this morning, but last night it was $3.69 to $3.79 in Bardstown. I got it for $3.56 earlier that morning.

In the city limits of my town prices are 3.99 for regular across the board.

 

Exactly 1 mile from the city limits, a gas station is selling regular for 4.27!

 

What are they thinking?

The national price increase was driven by sharp spikes in the Southeast, primarily the Carolinas, Tennessee and Kentucky, states which lie at the end of several Gulf pipelines. Generally, increases in other regions were fairly slight.

The owner was out there putting bags on the pumps (while people were getting gas) before he ran out because he knew he had a truck coming so he could raise the price.

Friends from another site have posted that at least three towns in Southern, Ohio will be above 5 bucks a gal today or Monday according to the manager of these places.
