$4.59 gas in Louisville this AM

Featured Replies

WHAS radio employee reported seeing a Safeway station on the way to work with $4.59. How long before they all follow suit? Hopefully it's just one crazy station owner.

It's $4.69 in Franklin this morning. I just saw the video on WBKO out of Bowling Green.

Welcome to Ryder Cup/effects of Ike.

I read yesterday that places in Texas is over five and it was being said the rest of the country will soon follow. The price of oil is down to 102 a brl.

Speedways in Louisville are showing prices from $3.69 to $3.89. Anybody charging $4.69 is just gouging you.

$3.69 in Eastern KY this morning.

It's anywhere from $3.48 to $3.59 in Glasgow. But i'm sure that's going to change soon... seems like every gas station was packed this morning. Get your gas while you can!

Its $ 3.79 to $ 3.88 in NKY and cheaper in parts of Ohio.

Rumors of shortages and price increases have become a self fulfilling prophesy this morning in Barbourville as last night's panic driven :rolleyes:run on the gas stations has caused them to run out before supplies can arrive. Rumor was that the closing of refineries in the Galveston area have caused shortages at the Knoxville storage facilities that supply us and once it's gone there would be no more.

However, word is a tanker arrived at the local Shell station a few minutes ago. People are such lemmings.

Oil Prices dropped 2 days ago, this is some crap and there is no justification for these actions.

My goodness, folks, it's 1975 again! I moved to where I could see the Shell station and that area of 4-lane 25E is becoming a parking lot as people line up to get the gasoline as soon as the tanker unloads.

Incredible!

I was just about to post this...I've heard that gas was going to jump as much as 60 cents today because of the hurricane. If gas hasnt gone ujp where you are, go get it now.
