Huge road win, for Davis and on TV, may help with recruiting.

 

Wouldn't be surprised, if the Tarheels aren't extremely competitive, in 2-3 years.

I felt like he might have been UK's next choice a few years back. He will do a GREAT job at UNC I think. It's worked out well for both schoold IMO.

Rutgers was only mighty for about 10 minutes (one year).

 

I know Michigan courted the Scarlet Knights coach, and I believe Miami did as well. Think he might be kicking himself a bit about now?

I don't follow all the recruiting stuff that closely, but I was stunned watching this game. Is Rutgers that bad? I mean 2 offensive touchdowns in 2 games???

 

That's unbelievable. The ACC is for the taking, North Carolina will have every opportunity to get in that ACC title game.

Butch Davis is meant for the college game... the guy knows what he is doing. UNC is a program waiting to be unleashed, imo.

Looks like my prediction of UNC winning the ACC looked nice last night ;-)

Butch is an excellent recruiter, but I've never been fond of his in game skills. I also think UNC will be a very strong program shortly.

I was shocked at the outcome of this game.

 

UNC took it to Rutgers!
