September 12, 200818 yr Mike Teel is a bad QB, and it showed big time last night... I had kind of always had that idea, and thought he hid behind R.R.

September 12, 200818 yr When the going gets tough, Teel gets to finding wide open defenders to throw at... My buddy's senior quote... "When the going gets tough, I like to sit back and take it easy."
September 12, 200818 yr Huge road win, for Davis and on TV, may help with recruiting. Wouldn't be surprised, if the Tarheels aren't extremely competitive, in 2-3 years. Take it easy on the commas.
September 13, 200818 yr Butch is an excellent recruiter, but I've never been fond of his in game skills. I also think UNC will be a very strong program shortly. His defensive coordinator John Blake is one of the top recruiters in the country as well. He recruited a lot of the guys that were on Oklahoma's title team in i think it was 2000. He landed some great recruits in his time at Nebraska as well.
September 13, 200818 yr Rutgers was only mighty for about 10 minutes (one year). ? Agree completely. How did RU get national recognition? I honestly don't remember what they did other than have UL choke on a FG.

I heard this until I was sick of hearing about it. I mean it may help but why the overkill, plus why does ESPN feel the need to throne NC as contenders so early on after they keep preaching this is their first non NC win since 2002, to that stat I say WOW, how bad is/was that program and why would this one win over a terribly over hyped 10 minute wonder like Rutgers solidify a top recruit to choose NC? I say nothing. They beat UofL and put their stamp on the axe chop, and signed their coach to a huge salary, other than that they have always stunk and stink once again.

I tend to agree with you 3wishes; however, Butch Davis is a master in the college ranks and will continue to build North Carolina's program, unfortunately.

Well if your comparing him at the college level to the professionel level, he is a master.:DI still just depise him from Cleveland. Also his recruiting trail will be much more limited at NC than at Miami because he cannot get all the talent he got at Miami, NC has much stricter acceptance policies.
September 13, 200818 yr Schiano should have taken the Miami job two years ago. He hit lighting in a bottle with Rice and rode him to two years of pretty good success and national attention. That ship has sailed and Rutgers is bad. Should have gone to South Beach. Dumb Dumb Dumb.
