September 9, 200818 yr Author I havent seen or read the conspiracy theories. However, can someone tell me the theories of WHY it was done at the cost of so many lives? Gulf of Tonkin was made up to get public support to go to Vietnam. The infamous "incubator baby" story during the first Persian Gulf War got public support to get Iraq out of Kuwait. It was done to get support to go overseas and take control of the Middle East, oil, money, etc. If it's impossible to believe that our government could do something to their own people, just read this document: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Northwoods If you want to hear something REALLY darn eerie, check this out: After hearing that and you want to believe the audio was doctored in some way, you can download the original audio at: http://www.vaed.uscourts.gov/notablecases/moussaoui/exhibits/prosecution/flights/P200054.html
September 9, 200818 yr I've always felt a little unsure about the way the buildings fell.... I mean, if you look at how high the impact zones of the planes were on those buildings, IMO there is no way that takes down those entire buildings, I just dont see it as possible. Also, I've heard before that jet fuel doesnt even burn hot enough to melt steel.
September 9, 200818 yr No flight manifests have ever been released, I don't think. There is good reason to believe that the very reason for that is because no Muslim names/"supposed terrorists" names would show up on those manifests. You also add to it that we had 18 or 19 names and pictures put up right after the attacks. Yet it turns out that several of those people ended up having nothing to do with the attacks and many were alive and well. Why in the world would they rush that list into the public with incorrect information. And while I can't speak for all the cel phone calls, there is reason to believe many of those were faked/not possible in 2001. Is there a reason that you accept that the cell phone calls could have been faked/not possible, but buy into the circumstantial evidence that you listed in post #4?
September 9, 200818 yr Author Is there a reason that you accept that the cell phone calls could have been faked/not possible, but buy into the circumstantial evidence that you listed in post #4? What do you mean? As for that "incubator baby" story, here are the details. The link goes into great detail about everything leading up to it. While this doesn't directly relate to 9/11, it does show the fabrication of evidence to get public support. Which is essentially the core belief behind the 9/11 truth movement that this event was carried out by our own government, blamed on others to get public support. In fact, the most emotionally moving testimony on October 10 came from a 15-year-old Kuwaiti girl, known only by her first name of Nayirah. According to the Caucus, Nayirah's full name was being kept confidential to prevent Iraqi reprisals against her family in occupied Kuwait. Sobbing, she described what she had seen with her own eyes in a hospital in Kuwait City. Her written testimony was passed out in a media kit prepared by Citizens for a Free Kuwait. "I volunteered at the al-Addan hospital," Nayirah said. "While I was there, I saw the Iraqi soldiers come into the hospital with guns, and go into the room where . . . babies were in incubators. They took the babies out of the incubators, took the incubators, and left the babies on the cold floor to die."83 Three months passed between Nayirah's testimony and the start of the war. During those months, the story of babies torn from their incubators was repeated over and over again. President Bush told the story. It was recited as fact in Congressional testimony, on TV and radio talk shows, and at the UN Security Council. "Of all the accusations made against the dictator," MacArthur observed, "none had more impact on American public opinion than the one about Iraqi soldiers removing 312 babies from their incubators and leaving them to die on the cold hospital floors of Kuwait City."84 At the Human Rights Caucus, however, Hill & Knowlton and Congressman Lantos had failed to reveal that Nayirah was a member of the Kuwaiti Royal Family. Her father, in fact, was Saud Nasir al-Sabah, Kuwait's Ambassador to the US, who sat listening in the hearing room during her testimony. The Caucus also failed to reveal that H&K vice-president Lauri Fitz-Pegado had coached Nayirah in what even the Kuwaitis' own investigators later confirmed was false testimony. If Nayirah's outrageous lie had been exposed at the time it was told, it might have at least caused some in Congress and the news media to soberly reevaluate the extent to which they were being skillfully manipulated to support military action. Public opinion was deeply divided on Bush's Gulf policy. As late as December 1990, a New York Times/CBS News poll indicated that 48 percent of the American people wanted Bush to wait before taking any action if Iraq failed to withdraw from Kuwait by Bush's January 15 deadline.85 On January 12, the US Senate voted by a narrow, five-vote margin to support the Bush administration in a declaration of war. Given the narrowness of the vote, the babies-thrown-from-incubators story may have turned the tide in Bush's favor. http://www.prwatch.org/books/tsigfy10.html
September 9, 200818 yr What do you mean? On a side note, you probably wouldn't be homeless if you spent less time on the computer and more time at work...
September 9, 200818 yr Author On a side note, you probably wouldn't be homeless if you spent less time on the computer and more time at work... Well I'm in college full time, staying with family, so I don't work. I do plenty of chores around the house to earn my keep. But I'm taking 19 credit hours, so that keeps me busy. I do agree that I have too much free time on the computer. :thumb:
September 9, 200818 yr I'm not buying. The people on the plane that crashed in Pennsylvania had called their loved ones, and told them that Muslims had taken over the plane, and they were going to try and over power them. If the planes were being flown by remote control, why would the Muslims have been on board with knives and box cutters? Don't you think that those on the planes that crashed into the Twin Towers would have noticed that nobody was flying the plane? I have also read 911 conspiracies saying that there wasn't even anyone on the Pennsylvania flight and that the "loved ones" were paid off heavily to tell the story of the plane being overtaken. Not that I believe this one whole heartidly because I find it hard to believe people could actually put on that kind of front just for money. It's possible, but I just don't like to think people would be dirty enough to do that. Another conspiracy out there is why in the world was there nearly no plan wreckage at the pentagon crash site? When a plan crashes there will always be heavy debris, all you see at the pentagon though is what appears to be where a bomb or missle has hit. And last but not least, how in the world can two planes take out 5 buildings? With all that said, nothing but love and prayers go out for all those who lost their lives 09/11/01
September 9, 200818 yr These conspiracy theories are all hogwash. 9-11 was an attack on our country that took the lives of thousands of our fellow Americans. It wasn't staged by our government. End of story...
September 9, 200818 yr Here's the problem with a lot of these theories. People want them to be true so badly, they overlook common sense. For instance, there's no way debri from flight 93 travelled 6 miles to Indian Lake. So, flight 93 was shot down. Well, Indian Lake is 6 miles from the crash site, IF you mapquest it. Debri wasn't taking the same route...

September 9, 200818 yr Well, Indian Lake is 6 miles from the crash site, IF you mapquest it. Debri wasn't taking the same route... Yes, but with common sense you have to ask yourself. Can a plane strike the ground, then send parts of its self flying for six miles after hitting the ground? That's a long way when such an impact was concentrated in just a small zone.
September 9, 200818 yr If you play it backwards it says "Paul is dead". Stupid question maybe, but I've always wondered how you play something backwards?
September 9, 200818 yr It is an interesting topic. Though, most of it is rubbish I've found the most confounding part of the story of that day the crash into the Pentagon. An enormous jet, flying as fast as it was claimed to have been, crashed into the Pentagon, caused minimal damage, yet disappeared. There is a small hole in the Pentagon, but nothing consistent with the holes left in the twin towers. No compelling piece of wreckage was found, let alone one that would prove that a plane had hit. Even the government has the story mixed up, claiming it has found a wheel, nothing, pieces of the wing, and the black box. Additionally, after the crash, a large, covered object was removed from the crash site. The government has yet to release what this covered object was. On top of this, there were cameras in position to see the plane hit the Pentagon. Yet the government had them confiscated, releasing only one that was of such poor quality nothing could be seen. The government provided a very detailed, scientific explanation of the attack in New York, routing most all of the conspiracy theories with very legitimate explanations. In the case of the Pentagon, however, nothing near that level was approached by the government's explanation which leads me to believe something odd happened at the Pentagon, and the government knows something that the public doesn’t. Of course, the government is also poor at handling rather mundane, daily business-type tasks. To keep a cover up of this proportion and magnitude hidden would be a feat unprecedented.
