That's not what she said. She said her staff had never discussed the possibility of having Palin on, and now she is being called to account for the truthfulness of that statement.

Just my opinion - Oprah does not want and will not have Sarah Paline on her show. Go figure. During the Dem convention she cried her eyelashes off.

I disagree with the Fairness Doctrine and believe that Oprah has the right to have who she wants on the show. I just find it ironic.

She's made her allegiances known. She's taken a side. She's never pretended to be unbiased. She is not a "news" show. She's the private owner of a business, and she chooses not to host a certain guest. If she owned a restaurant, she'd legally be able to refuse service to anyone she chooses.

I wouldn't worry too much about backlash if I were Oprah. She has more followers than Palin ever will.

It is her show, I have no problem with her decision. If she is doing it to help Obama, then thats her choice...
