September 5, 200818 yr OPRAH'S STATEMENT: "The item in today's Drudge Report is categorically untrue. There has been absolutely no discussion about having Sarah Palin on my show. Oprah's staff is sharply divided on the merits of booking Sarah Palin, sources tell the DRUDGE REPORT. "Half of her staff really wants Sarah Palin on," an insider explains. "Oprah's website is getting tons of requests to put her on, but Oprah and a couple of her top people are adamantly against it because of Obama." One executive close to Winfrey is warning any Palin ban could ignite a dramatic backlash! Link
September 5, 200818 yr I hope her show gets canceled! I know it won't happen but oh well! This is her first backing of a presidential nominee! Go figure!
September 5, 200818 yr Probably because Gov. Fargo isn't allowed to talk to the press or do interviews. So the point is moot.
September 5, 200818 yr Author Probably because Gov. Fargo isn't allowed to talk to the press or do interviews. So the point is moot. You must really fear her.
September 5, 200818 yr You must really fear her. Naw...she won't be around long enough to fear. Come November it will be Sarah who?
September 6, 200818 yr I think it's actually a little impressive. Oprah is sticking by her candidate instead of going for an obvious huge ratings opportunity. And I really dislike Oprah.

September 6, 200818 yr You must really fear her. I've been thinking the exact same thing. I didn't think a vp slot could have such an effect on both parties. Interesting.
September 6, 200818 yr I think it looks cowardly, like she's afraid it will help the McCain campaign. She's made her allegiances known. She's taken a side. She's never pretended to be unbiased. She is not a "news" show. She's the private owner of a business, and she chooses not to host a certain guest. If she owned a restaurant, she'd legally be able to refuse service to anyone she chooses.
