Ryan Williams from Clark County is one of the best passers I have seen in a while. He is small but super quick on offense and defense which is one part of the game a lot of guards forget about.:ylsuper:

I would say that Vee Sanford is 1 followed closely by Faulkner.

He plays all 5 positions for them mostly looking for a mismatch, but does most of his damage at the 3 and 4 spot. he will drag samller players to the post and pull the bigger guys out on the floor and cause lots of problems for the defense. Russell's improvement in the post has freed him up to do alot of things.

I think that Ethan Faulkner has the best basketball IQ. I think that Josh Whitaker is the best floor leader. I think that Chad Jackson is the most skilled. How's that for vague?

I agree, he has great heart, and is a joy to watch. He does not have the same skills that Jackson possesses. Not remotely close, IMO, and that's no knock on Ethan. Ethan can shoot the jumper better, no doubt. He cannot break defenders down the same. He cannot touch the top of the square with both hands. I could go on.

Jackson is a very talented player and has all the physical tools you want in a basketball player, but all Faulkner does is win. He had an amazing 6 game winning shots this summer including a buzzer beater against arguably the best team in country, Grassroots Canada. He went head to head against a lot of top rated players this summer, and while those players will end up playing at a higher level due to their body type, the result was usually the same, Faulkner just won

As for the mountain teams, they are unusually strong at the point this season with players like Elisha Justice, Josh Whitaker, Stuart Stamper, and James David Strange. Also, I'm sure Tate Cox will see some time at the point and is a good player. Whitaker and Stamper are more offensive minded PGs, but for my money Elisha Justice is the tops from the mountains. His ballhandling ability and defensive pressure totally change a game.

I like Justice's game too. Played well at North Hardin. Strong kid, doesn't backdown and sees the court and leads well.

He is correct when telling he is a football player, this is the same for Rogers, a football player. Nice athlete, football makeup, but really not a great point guard. Speed he has, basketball skills is the question at that position IMO.
