Yeah I disagree. I believe that Jackson is a better passer and ball handler than Faulkner. When I have seen him he has made everyone around him much better. Thats what you want from your point guard.

 

I don't think there is anyway that Jackson is a better ball handler or passer than Faulkner. I actually also think that Faulkner is a better shooter and rebounder than Jackson. Jackson is better at penetrating and taking the ball to the basket. Faulkner is better at the PG position.

I was just wondering what Jackson's condition is. Someone mentioned that he was very ill at school or something. Any updates?

But the season is going to be here before long and none of our discussion matters. The boys will prove themselves on the court. Its just fun to talk about.:thumb:

I really like Josh Whitaker of Hazard. He's smart, quick, a coach on the floor, shoots it pretty good, makes solid decisions....

Honestly, Faulkner is one of the best rebounding PGs in the state, so I don't think that shooting is the only place that he is better than Jackson(I'd take his passing as well). When it matters Faulkner has stepped up. He's the back to back region tournament MVP. Close to averaging a triple double both years in the region tournament. :thumb: Jackson only made it once and didn't win. I have no doubt that Jackson is a very talented player, but if we are talking about the best point guard and what has been proved, there is no contest.

I heard a rumor that CJ Penny played PG this summer for Anderson County. Did anyone catch him at PG? He would bring great size to the spot.

 

I heard Trent Maddox of Gallatin County beat him out for a spot on the Eddie Ford AAU team and until he hurt his knee was the starting point gaurd on the team.

I am going to say that this year Jackson will be the best rebounding guard in the state. As for the regional tournament, they did beat Rose Hill, but Rose Hill didn't have anyone else to really score besides Jackson and Euton. But based on what I seen this summer, Jackson, Whitaker, and Sanford are all a level above Faulkner IMO.

Faulkner cannot rebound with Chad Jackson, the stats will bear that out so you can delete that from the argument. Of all the comparisons, that one can't possibly hold water. With that said, I think we've reached an impasse here on what is a frivilous argument. Let's revisit this around January.:thumb:
