Greenup Co 2008/2009

I think in two years this program is going to be the one that everyone will be trying to knock off the top of the list.

They can't beat Rose Hill. That fantastic sophomore class never has beaten Rose Hill's ninth grade class to my knowledge. Perhaps someone can correct me if I'm mistaken.

The good thing about it is, we will find out.

True. My point is that there will be someone higher on the ladder than GC if you look at past history. However, what I'm concerned about is this; What will the GC faithful say if this standout group of kids doesn't make it to Rupp? Will they call for Fraley's head?

The Hill has a tendency to break up before they get to JR and SR years. Just a thought.

No, Fraley is a quality coach and will keep them on the right track with the support of everyone involved.

The other two are sophomores, they havent had a chance to prove anything yet.

My point exactly how can you put this bunch as one of the best inside players when only 1 has proven anything, man you GC fans are touchy, win before you claim anything. This bunch hasn't proven they can compete in their own county much less the district yet:devil:

Wow, the Sophomores are that good?

Yes, they are that good. I was at practice last night, Baker was shooting the lights out, Fraley was pumping his confidence, telling the entire team, "Baker is a shooter", I am jacked up about this team, young but have a ton of potential, Hampton and Williams are players, I'd like to see Trey go ahead and dunk it instead of laying it in, Coach will get him there.

I havent made any claims.

Hmm... Sounds like somebody's worried...

Yes, but jacking up three usually don't get it done, needs to be balance with a inside game.:jump:

I will bet they will have an inside game by the middle of the season once Hampton gets his confidence and Williams has some good inside moves as well.:D

IMO Greenup will be fine this year. They have alot of talent and a excellent coach. The only problem i can see with this GC team would be lack of confidence and inexperience. If nethier is an issue greenup will be the front runner in the 16th!

I agree, could be in the top eight in the 16th region by the end of the year, possibly semi-final contender

Isnt Boo Williams an uncle or some type of relative to Trey? Wasn't it Boo that shattered the glass at Greenup back in the 80's? Give Trey time. :dancingpa
