I have no idea what to make of this game. But when making my pick, I lean on a tried and true gambling rule: Never bet on a bad quarterback on the road. And while Hartline may not be "bad," per se, it doesn't inspire much confidence in him that Cobb has been getting so many snaps in practice.

Nahhh, I'm not gonna make a prediction yet, should be a close one though.

 

I'm leaning towards UL at this point. It's a home game for UL and Hartline is as unproven as they come.

I hope the Cards win, but I just can't say for sure that they will. As I've said before, I wouldn't be surprised to see either team win. I think UL has an advantage at the QB spot, and the obvious home-field advantage, but will that be enough to push them over the top in this game? Only time will tell...

Man, I've been away for too long, time to get back into the season of things!

 

Louisville has Hunter Cantwell and Brock Bolen. Can UKs defense stay on top of both dimensions? I say no. Can UofL's defense stop... anyone? I'll hope so.

Bottom line: UL won't be able to stop UK's running game when they have to.

If a Louisville defense materializes out of nothing, then I say Louisville wins this one. If not, then it will be a rough afternoon. Still, I will not pick against the Cardinals here.
