Kentucky should win, they have more depth, and more experience in key areas and the fall camp attrition has hurt Louisville in the worst spots.

Louisville will win, because Louisville is Louisville and Kentucky is Kentucky.

That's right, I had forgot that they (Cards) were an "Elite" powerhouse.:D

Its not necessarily been good to UK either at arguably the biggest position question mark and thats at WR. Only 1 WR who caught a pass last year has been available for more than 3 or 4 days of practice and thats Lyons. Someone besides Lyons will need to step up and make some catches IMO, and Hartline must make the throws. That being said I believe UK has a much better defense and that will be the difference.

UL 24

UK 21

Difference is Hartline throws a pick with under 2 minutes to go and Cards run out the clock.

I am not expecting much from either team. I know some may disagree with me, but I still fill UL has more potential explosive pieces left over from the Petrino regime to be halfway effective. From the Commonwealth's perspective, there are lots of intriguing storylines.

UL 20

UK 10

Ten points? I think this UK O deserves a little more credit than ten points. I mean UL's LB's are not that experienced. I look for UK to run the ball on this UL defense.

UK 28

UL 17

Bottom line: UL won't be able to stop UK's running game when they have to.[/QUOTE]

Classic. I could have typed this post for you is how predictable this one was.

Anyways, Louisville has an advantage at the most important position in football. The running game of UK will determine the game. If they can stay on the field and control the clock, the Cats will win this one.

BTW, I got my ticket today.

I hope the Cards win, but I just can't say for sure that they will. As I've said before, I wouldn't be surprised to see either team win. I think UL has an advantage at the QB spot, and the obvious home-field advantage, but will that be enough to push them over the top in this game? Only time will tell...

:thumb: I am picking U.K. in a close one but a U.L. win would not suprise me at all.

I think that U.K.'s defense and running game will be the difference.

While UK may very well win this ballgame, I don't necessarily feel that UK has the advantage at the RB position. We will see, that's the good thing. I actually think both offenses will come out firing in the beginning, and then the defenses will start to gel....two things that have me worried, is the question of Hartline, and the absolute advantage in depth that UK has.

I changed yours to what I am concerned with... ;)

I'm beginning to grow worried that UK's running game may get injured...We have some issues with the health of our RB's. Big guys or not, there is going to be some big hits between these two teams. I hope that everyone on both teams can stay healthy for this game though, hate seeing injuries first game into the season (Michael Bush).

Seems to me the only issues has been with Little's inability to stay healthy. The other guys haven't been injured nearly as much as Little.

I think Kentucky does have a decided advantage in the running game, and if the game is low-scoring, it should favor the Cats.

I just hope we can stay away from the injury bug.
