November 9, 200817 yr Twenhofel lost to Conner by 3 friday night and regained form and beat Gray by about 15+ using all 15 players in rotations of 5. They all looked good.
November 9, 200817 yr I was at some of the games at Lloyd this weekend also. In the 8th grade games, I was really impressed with Camp Ernst. They have a lot of size and decent guard play. If I'm not mistaken, they won the NKAC tourney last year as 7th graders and may be the team to beat this year also. I thought Conner and Twenhofel looked good also. Jones Middle is much improved from last year's 7th grade team. They defeated a good Tichenor team and beat Owen County by about 20 points.

November 10, 200817 yr The folks at Lloyd did a nice job this year assembling some good teams for their middle school classic. The 7th grade teams from Conner, Twenhofel and Walton looked impressive. It should be an interesting year.

November 11, 200817 yr Birds 8th were asleep at the wheel tonight in there opener losing to st Thomas/catherine. All 13 kids played and ist game rust was evident. St mary won a close one over st joe's crescent spring. Could be a long season for the birds if some of those kids don't step up the intensity.

It should be an interesting year. Walton 7th grade should be one of the better teams in the area. Last night against Carroll, Walton scored the first 25 points of the game. I'll grant you Carroll is weak, but they're still a talented group that'll be fun to watch in the next few years.

November 11, 200817 yr Congrats to Lincoln's 8th grade team - they beat Wayne County last night by 33 points, 62-29. Wayne took the 6th grade game by a BUNCH and the 7th grade by two, I believe. Lincoln looked REALLY good, although it was their first game - so we shall see how the season goes!
November 12, 200817 yr Twenhofel plays Conner twice this regular season.. Is that a flub up or are Boone and Kenton playing each other again?
