Meece Middle (Somerset) swept Southern (Southwestern) tonight for the 2nd straight season. The 7th grade Jumpers blasted the Warriors 50-6 while the 8th grade rolled 38-6. Nice job Jumpers!

Big game in the NKMSFL league tomorrow. Campbell County vs NCC. Both teams are undefeated and the winner will have the driver's seat in the East division. 12:30 at Twenhofel.

Any results on this one?

NCC beat Campbell County 19-8 yesterday. Not a real strong game by either team. NCC had 3 or 4 turnovers but Campbell could do nothing with them. The Camels O line was completely overmatched and the QB and RB had no time to do anything.

NCC has a quick front line on defense.

Newport Middle school had a good win over CovCath yesterday. I believe it was 31 to 0. NMS O-line played great - they got their blocks and kept their blocks. The QB #2 Baldwin threw two TD passes - I beleive one was to #40 Pearson and the other to #13 Guilkey. Guilkey also added a couple TD's - I believe one was on a running play and the other was a return.

Good Job Cats.

Bell has one of the beat 8th teams I have seen in a long long time anywhere.

Is this kid as good as the middle schooler Bell Co had about 3 or 4 years ago.. He embarassed Scott Co as a 7th grade and destroyed GMS as an 8th grader

Does Corbin still have that Ungodly huge kid? There was a kid playing in the 5th and 6th grade league with my little cousin a few years ago. He was about 6'3" 320 pounds or so. I would think he would be in 7th or 8th grade now? How big is the kid now? I remember talking to people that said he was timid because he was afraid he would hurt people. Hopefully he has developed a mean streak.

He is on the 7th team this year and is learning the game well and if he continues he will be a good one he has got the fear of hurting someone out of his system.

How big is the kid now? Someone should get him with Coach Burchett or someone and get a workout plan started. Odds are the kid won't get much bigger but he is already college sized so strength and technique should be what he works on.

The Newport Wildcats Domiated the Bracken County Polar Bears tonight 35 to 0 great job Wildcats and keep it up!

Sure would have liked to have seen the New Harlan/Bell Co. game this year. Too bad Bell's schedule was too full to play.
