Meece now faces Southern (Southwestern) in the semi state on Tuesday. Southern was the winner of their conference. The winner of that game goes to Lexington to compete with four other conference and semi state champions for the crown of 7th grade middle school state champion.

I wish we could have got in this in Johnson Co. Our 7th grade team is pretty good. How is Morgan Co. in it? I don't think they belong to any conference.

Heard Bracken Co. Cubs won 48-30 in championship game. Beat Frankfort in the first round of District last Saturday 22-14 in OT.

You have to join they are hopeing to have more join next season did you all play Morgan if so could you pm me with some stuff.I know everything is set this year it cost some money but I will try give you all some info for next year I will give it to you on your pm when I look it up.

Bell County 8th grade is set to take on Wayne County tuesday, anyone close to the Wayne Co. program? how do they look? Bell Co. has a tremendous playmaker, #5, Polly, who IMHO is the backbone of that team, would love to see him get a few more touches, extremely dangerous. #2 Collett is also pretty quick, has some good vision.

According to the brackets, Morgan Co. won the East KY MS Conference...not sure who that includes. Their 8th grade was 15-0 and 7th was 9-1. They play the double wing like Estill Co. HS and are very effective at it.

Corbin 7th defeated Morgan Co 7th yesterday. I have heard that Wayne Co. has a pretty good 8th grade but I just dont see anyone beating Bell Co in the 8th.

Anyone have information on either Franklin-Simpson and Bowling Green 7th grade. Meece Middle (Somerset) will be playing the winner in the state semi-finals (assuming we beat Southern on tuesday night). Meece stands at 12-1 with our only loss coming to Corbin by 4 earlier in the season. We beat Corbin the other night for the conference championship 18-0.

Is Corbin one of the final 4 teams? Who are the other possibilities? I know the Jumpers/Southern winner & the Franklin-Simpson/Bowling Green winner, but who is in the other leg of the bracket?

Have'nt been in this thread in a while but L.C.A. junior high won the conference championship game over Lex Cath. the other day. 2nd year in a row these 2 meet in the conference final with the little eagles taking the trophy. Congrats.
