Campbell County beat Cov Cath #2 today at Sharp 32-0. The score was 6-0 at half but the Camels turned it up in the second half. Nate McGovney and Grant Mahoney scored 2 TDs each for the first team offense. I heard that the two Cov Cath teams were split up evenly. Can anyone confirm that? The Camels had some penalties but look to be pretty strong this year.

Kudos to #75 from Cov Cath (Nose tackle). He was a very strong player but did not have a lot of support around him.

CovCath (1) beat Holy Cross 24-0 today.

Pendleton County beat Woodland 19-18 today.

Clay County is South Eastern KY is going to be very gooc, they have a good number of kids out and have some size to boot. They have a strong QB and several nice athletes.

Knox Central will also be a force in SEKY, they have a couple of super athlets and look like are being well coached.

Whitley County is also going to be good. Dalton Sizemore and Boston Bryant are the horsepower on that team, but they also have a Jackson kid who can play.

Meece Middle played Bell Co. today. Meece won the 7th grade game 52-12 with the clock running early in the 3rd quarter. Bell Co. won the 8th grade game 28-8.

WOW impressive win for the 7th graders from Meece.

I've felt for some time now that this group is going to be special. The key was how our line plays. After yesterday most of my doubts are gone, we not only have size but also have depth. We travel to Foley on Thursday.

Northern has a good 7th grade team 2-0- defeated Lexinton Catholic over the weekend.

Lincoln County plays Northern MS on Thursday, but heard that their biggest kid (TE/DE) sprained his ankle playing volleyball during his lunch break today, so he probably won't be playing in that game. Lincoln looks to be really good this year, their line is HUGE, they have a really good RB in the Jackson kid.

They have games this week vs Northern, Mercer on Saturday, and Rockcastle next Tuesday. So we shall see.......

Did Lincoln get some more kids out for their 8th grade team this season? They were not very strong last season.

Well, maybe a few, but they were really beginning to play WELL at the end of the season last year and I am hoping they will start well this year. Plus, many of them have grown. The biggest weakness will be at quarterback, but the running game looks good, so we shall see.......
