Do you see this drop in 6A across the board or just in Central, KY?

 

I am not sure what to expect from the public schools around here right now.

 

6A football in Lexington is in a state of flux right now. 3 of the 5 schools have new coaches this year(PLD,TC,LAF) and two of three schools (PLD and TC) are implementing different systems than were run in years past. Henry Clay will be good this year but they lost a ton of talent last year and the replacements however talented are not on par with the '07 senior class. I really feel like the coaching changes in Lexington were good for all schools in invloved and the future looks promising as of right now. But I do believe that football in Lexington is way down from the late 90's.

To all of you who rank X above T in the pre-season, I thank you! We usually finish up the season in pretty strong fashion when that happens!

I like the teams that are hungry, on the ascent.

I think North Hardin will return to some prominence this year. In fact, that whole conference (North Hardin, Meade County, Nelson County, Greenwood, Central Hardin) should be very competetive.

Because after about 6 teams there is a mammoth drop off and Fern Creek is the most athletic and has the most potential of the remaining pack.

 

Fern Creek was on fire the beginning of last year then their wheels fell off. With their off season activities, no way they should be in the top 20. Sorry EKU, but Curtis will need a few more years. I see the top being...

HC has a lot of defensive starters returning, rather it be X or Trinity, they may have the defense to stop those high power offenses. Can HC put up points, thats a different story all together.

 

I truly believe it will play out a X and T thing but I hoping for an upset this year!!! Wishful thinking on my part.....

 

By the way, Im a NKY guy, I have my hands full with the CCH vs Highlands thing and when you add BG and JH in the mix WHO KNOWS!! Just trying to show some lov to my Lexington folk.....:thumb:

I love my Crimsons but Manual will have a lot of reloading to do. Maybe they end up near the top, but I'm expecting a bit of a drop from last season.

 

 

 

Along your same lines...I don't get the respect being given to MALE...I think this will be a loooooong season for us.
