They may have more rah rah leaders on this team. I saw a few guys after practice taking some leassons from this years cheerleading squad. Besides the rah rah, they may even show us how to do the splits.

What is Boone returning this year to put them in the top 10? By no way am I putting down my former high school, I just didnt think they were returning much this year. Is it just people from below NKY not knowing and putting them up there b/c they usually are amongst the pack at the end of every season?

 

Yes!, Boone did lose 30 seniors last year, and Yes! Cory Farris, Shawn bogle, and Mercier Doucette were a big part of it.

 

This years senior's have been working hard to replace the positions lost from last year,

 

Seniors: Zac Eagler, Brian Robertson, Andrew Brown, Andy Rich, Cory Spaulding, and Jason Chisholm all return on defense this season. On offense Zach Hall is the only returning lineman, but juniors Drew Lipscomb, and Tyler Potter have stepped it up to fill the center and guard Position. Playing boths ways Rich, and Brown fill in the rest of the line at tackle and end. Cory Spaulding and Daniel Loesak return as the main recievers as well as senior Mike Walsh and junior Nate Alford, who are batttling for the starting quarterback role right now.

 

I know I have great pride in the Rebel's and that you may agree or disagree with me but I believe that Boone County is very underated and they are going to surprise a few teams this season.

How will the loss of Bogle and Doucette affect the BC offense? BC always has had a brutal running game, but the athleticism of Bogle, and the ability of Doucette to out run defenders, really helped Boone the past few years.

I don't see Boone going down in play to much. Year in and year out, Boone is tough.

The offense really didn’t take a blow at widereciever but like I said earlier Daniel Loesak and Cory Spaulding were the Number 2 and 3 wide receivers to Doucette last year. They totaled the rest of the receiving yards besides what tight end Sam Brown brought in. Both of them have greats hands and can catch the ball, even though they will never have that break a way speed like Duece did.

 

For quarterback's Mike Walsh and Nate Alford, it will be there first season starting varsity since Bogle has started the last 2 to 3 years. From what I have heard both athletes have been throwing great during 7 on 7 drills and they should battle it out in these next couple weeks for the starting spot.

HEY TIGER 1990,

 

I wonder why anyone would attempt to bash a couple of kids from the Rocks that have "THREE STATE CHAMPIONSHIP FOOTBALL RINGS". Both of these young men have done their job and both will go down in the Trinity History books as great players and leaders who bought into the Coach Beatty T-Rock system and both were members of the "Third Three Peat Team" from Trinity.

 

Kyle Griffin was named by the coaches as one of the Four Team Captions for the 2007 Football Season along with Wes Weitlauf, Will Stein and Nick VanWallington. If you would review the tapes of the 2006 St.X Trinity rain game when Superman scored Griffin was in on the block that started the very long touchdown run to score first.
