July 21, 200818 yr Well here it goes, and don't judge too hard because we all know no one can live up to the rants of Rocket. I can not stand when food workers get my order wrong. I can understand if it's really busy or something but when it's dead is a totally different story...Well the other day I took my lunch break and decided to go to Penn Station. I get there, order a chick philly with NO MUSHROOMS, well when I get it, I bring it back to work and open it up and what do I find...STUPID MUSHROOMS...I was so upset I almost drove back to the place to show them that they had messed up..I decided to let it go and just pick them off even though the mushroom juice was already all over my sub..Well I looked at my order receipt and sure enough it was marked for no mushrooms..I mean really do these people not even look at the tag when they make a sub? Geez..:madman: Then today on my way to work I decided to stop by Wendy's and get me some dinner to bring to work since I have to work till 11pm, well I go through the drive-thru and ordered a #8..well when she says is that it I told her that I had a Rowan Co. Spirit card that said I get 10% off my total..She said ok, that my pre-total was whatever, and told me to show the card at the front window..Well I pull around, show the girl my card and give her my credit card, I get my receipt and what do ya know...charged full price..I told the drive-thru girl and she told me I had to tell them back at the drive-thru, well when she said that I was furious, I told her that I did, and the girl told me to tell them up here..She said that there was nothing she could do and I told her it made no sense, because if I would have came in to order then they would tell me the total and I would show them the card, then they'd take off the discount so it made no sense as to why she couldn't do the same thing..She said I could come in and wait and they'd see what they could do, I didn't have time that I was late for work and there was no excuse when I told them at the drive-thru and then showed it to her at the window...Man what a day... Then to top it off the Braves lose to the Nationals...and I mean bad!:madman::madman::madman:
July 21, 200818 yr How's this. We had Chinese for lunch today and neither of us eat onions so we order the meals without them. Fifty cents each for TAKING FOOD OUT of the order...
July 21, 200818 yr I can't stand it when food orders are messed up like this. It seems to happen to me more and more often.
July 21, 200818 yr This may be an unfair blanket statement, but you're going to get a lot of this at fast food places. The one here in Maysville that NEVER gets my to go order correct - and it's a shame because I like their food - is Sonic. Here's how bad it was last week. Five burgers for five bucks. I order one with ONLY mustard and extra pickles, and four with mayonnaise and the works. NO CHEESE on any of them. When I get home (I know, I should have checked there but I had already waited close to 15 minutes in line, and home is only four minutes away), I had one mustard burger with everything (onions, lettuce, tomato) including cheese; and four mayonnaise burgers with everything including cheese. They were 0 for 5.

July 21, 200818 yr Author Also people that write down your order, and they still get it wrong..I mean really this ticks me off beyond no other...Man I can't stand it..
July 21, 200818 yr How's this. We had Chinese for lunch today and neither of us eat onions so we order the meals without them. Fifty cents each for TAKING FOOD OUT of the order... Yeah. Casual Chinese in Newport does this. That's a real head scratcher there. I always get the chicken paad thai without peanuts and I get charged extra for the omission. Not sure I understand the logic there.
July 21, 200818 yr I remember back when I was in High School, I took Ju Jitsu 3 nights a week in Caldwell Co. after football practice, so by the time I got out of class it was almost 10 usually, so the only place open over there was Hardee's, and every time, and I do mean EVERY time it would take them 10 minutes to get me my food and it was wrong 95% of the time. So one night I was so frustrated with the ammount of time it took and when they gave me my drink that hadn't put the lid on at all and when I took a drink it poured all down my letterman jacket. This was the straw that broke the camel's back.....I pulled up in front of the Hardee's and proceed to lose my mind for about 30 seconds, I took the coke and threw it up against the front glass, then took the cheese burger out of the wrapper and hurled it at the window at about 75 mph and exploded on the front glass. The MGR came running out and was like "what the heck is wrong with you?" I then proceeded to give her about a 5 minute piece of my mind about how they always screw up EVERYTHING. I got a card for 10 free value meals because of that
July 21, 200818 yr Well, can I offer a rant from the other side of the drive through window? When I worked at Starbucks, people would order at the window, and then when they'd get their drink they'd be totally ticked off. Here's an example: Me: Welcome to Starbucks! What can I get for you today? Customer: I'd like a Grande White Mocha Me: Is there anything else I can get for you today? Customer: No, that will be all. Me: All Right! One White Mocha, that will be $4.19. Customer: Thanks! Customer drives to window. I take their money, hand them their beverage and then: Customer: What's this? Me: That's your grande white mocha. Customer: It's supposed to be cold. Me: I'm sorry, I thought you ordered a white mocha. Customer: I did. It's supposed to be cold. Me: I apologize, I didn't hear you say iced white mocha. We'll remake that for you. Here's a coupon for a free one on your next trip. 3 minutes later: Me: I'm sorry again. Here's your iced grande white mocha. Customer: You are such an idiot! That's still not right! I want a grande white mocha! Me: I'm so sorry! I thought you said after I gave you the hot white mocha that you wanted an iced white mocha. Customer: I did! But, it's supposed to be like a milkshake. Me: Oh! You want a white mocha frappucino! Customer: That's what I ordered! AAAAAAARRRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!!
July 21, 200818 yr I just get everything plain with cheese to avoid any confusion on what needs to be on it. They still mess that up sometimes.
July 21, 200818 yr :laugh: Very good point. I would be willing to bet that those who work behind fast food counters could rant on and on about obnoxious customers.
July 21, 200818 yr I ordered an ice tea from Star Buck's and asked for lemon. Guess what - I had to get a shot of lemonade. I was good though. so I can't complain
