July 21, 200818 yr The Wendy's near here is the worst. The last time I went there (which will be the last time I ever go there) we got a cheese burger with no burger. It was a bun with cheese, lettuce, ketchup and mustard. At that one they ought to have plenty of time to get orders right because they're certainly not busy cleaning the place.:creepy: I called to complain and haven't been back.

July 21, 200818 yr Well, can I offer a rant from the other side of the drive through window? :lol: When I worked at Starbucks, people would order at the window, and then when they'd get their drink they'd be totally ticked off. Here's an example: Me: Welcome to Starbucks! What can I get for you today? Customer: I'd like a Grande White Mocha Me: Is there anything else I can get for you today? Customer: No, that will be all. Me: All Right! One White Mocha, that will be $4.19. Customer: Thanks! Customer drives to window. I take their money, hand them their beverage and then: Customer: What's this? Me: That's your grande white mocha. Customer: It's supposed to be cold. Me: I'm sorry, I thought you ordered a white mocha. Customer: I did. It's supposed to be cold. Me: I apologize, I didn't hear you say iced white mocha. We'll remake that for you. Here's a coupon for a free one on your next trip. 3 minutes later: Me: I'm sorry again. Here's your iced grande white mocha. Customer: You are such an idiot! That's still not right! I want a grande white mocha! Me: I'm so sorry! I thought you said after I gave you the hot white mocha that you wanted an iced white mocha. Customer: I did! But, it's supposed to be like a milkshake. Me: Oh! You want a white mocha frappucino! Customer: That's what I ordered! AAAAAAARRRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!! RM you must be a saint! I would've been unemployed and the customer would've been wet. Hot or cold but WET!!

I waited in line for 7 hours to get a bowl of rice for the family to share over the next week. So I get to the front of the line and what do they tell me? The guy in front of me got the last of the rice! I was so angry that I wouldn't even eat the bark and grass casserole that my wife made for dinner!

I have a friend whose Mom when asked to pull forward would always tell them no, that she figured she would get her food much faster if she stayed right there.

I wouldn't mess with fast food workers until I had already received my food. They don't get paid enough to deal with angry people and not retaliate. :lol:
