July 21, 200818 yr I just get everything plain with cheese to avoid any confusion on what needs to be on it. They still mess that up sometimes. When I worked in fast food I hated when people would say... "I'd like a double quarter pounder plain. (Pause)....With cheese on it." Do you want it plain, or with cheese? :lol: How about, I'd like a double quarter pounder with ONLY CHEESE? Small things bother you when your working in a drive thru at McDonalds.

July 22, 200818 yr I cant stand it when the orders are wrong and lately we have had that problem. Skyline we order 8 cheese coneys, no onions. We get home, they all have onions. Mcdonalds we had a big order....no onions on the double cheeseburgers. We get the order, all have onions, cold fries, and we are missing one of the three McChickens we ordered...So we call, complain and get a credit. A couple days later we go and use the credit, no lie we get the same order, and they still forgot the 3rd McChicken. Seriously I don't think they think in those places. Normally I double check, but I was in a hurry, and do you really think people would mess your order up a 2nd time, knowing you are using a credit. Well I didn't check and they messed up. GRRR
July 22, 200818 yr The McDonalds in Newport is horrible. They're always messing up the orders, the shake machine is always broken, and they tend to run out of various food items.
July 22, 200818 yr We went out to dinner the other night and since I hadn't had breakfast in such a long time (I try to avoid a really good breakfast because it isn't healthy) I wanted to go to Cracker Barrel to eat. I ordered 2 eggs, a biscuit (1 - ONE), gravy, a sausage (1 - ONE) and some apples. I also ordered chocolate milke (1 - ONE - SMALL). We were there for about 15 minutes and out came these little lady with 2 - TWO cartons (small) of chocolate milk. I told her I only wanted one and I asked her how long would it be before we got our meal. Well she said, it will be a little while. So I told her to take the milk back with her and bring it out with the food because I didn't want warm milk. So we sat there for about 20 minutes more and out came our meal. MrRk got his steak, green beans, and fries and his tea. I got 4 - FOUR biscuits and one little bowl of gravy. I also got eggs. I asked her where was my sausage and apples were and why did I get 4 biscuits. I also asked her if I could please have my milk. MrRk asked her if he could have some steak sauce and ketcup. We waited another 20 mins.....No milk, no sausage, no apples, no steak sauce and no ketcup. She finally came out and again I asked her for the stuff we had asked for 2 or 3 times already. Oops she says, let me go see what is going on. So out she comes with my apples. I was almost through with my food by this time. I asked her where is my sausage and where is my milk. Oh, the sausage is just know being cooked and I'll bring your milk right out......HEY....what are the chances of getting some steak sauce. Obviously not too good if the look on her face was anything to go by. Out comes the milk and she says ...your sausage will be done in a minute...NO...NO...I don't want the sausage, I am already through with my meal. Do you want to take it home with you...NO....I don't, I wanted to eat it with my meal that's why I ordered it with my meal. The steak sauce came with about two bites left and he got up and got the ketcup himself. Needless to say I was not pleased and how the manager found out is beyond me but she came by our table to tell me she was sorry and we didn't have to pay for my meal. I don't really know who was at fault but it wasn't a pleasant meal but at least we got something to eat. A friend of ours went to this same place a few nights before us and they never did get their meal.
