In walking to lunch today down town, for some reason I was observant of the fact that it seems everyone has a cell phone. That got me thinking as to what percentage of the general population, above age 14 has a cell, and likewise what percentage of BGP posters has a cell.

 

Time for a roll call. I do; what about everyone else?

I do, my mom does, both my brothers do, but my dad does not....

I do. What about adding some sort of poll to this thread?

I have one supplied by work. I have never had my own.

I do, my brother does and Mom and Dad. IMO you should be at least 13 to have a phone.

I would think that in the 14 to 21 age group, its probably 80%+.

 

I'd say 70% of adults have one.

I can only think of one person I know who does not own one...

I do, brother does, mom does, dad does, and it goes on and on. All of my friends except for 1 has a cell phone.

I have 2. One furnished from work and my personal one. I don't remember what life was like without one!

I have one, as does my wife. We didn't even bother to get a land line.

I have one. MrRk has one supplied by his work otherwise he would never have one.

 

I was sitting at a business in New Albany this morning waiting for something and I was watching traffic. It was amazing how many people were driving with a cell phone up to their ear:irked:

I know a few people who live in government housing and receive government funding such as food stamps/food card...They all can afford to have a Cell Phone...:creepy:

My mom got rid of our land line a year ago. And when I own my own home, I don't really plan on having one either.

 

As for the original question all four members of our family do.

I have 2 one from work and a personal one. I also got rid of my land line about 2 1/2 years ago.
