The Woodbine Rebel Tourney was held here in Corbin over the weekend I believe. It usually features teams from all over central and eastern KY. I haven't heard who won the tourney.

 

I have always had a good time traveling to Corbin to play in the Woodbine.

My team, I play 1st, just won a tournament in Cincinnati this weekend.

 

It qualified us for Worlds @ Disney World in Florida in September and we received $300 travel money to be put towards our hotel down there.

 

You guys should google Disneys complex down there, I think its called Disneys World or Sports, its incredible.

I believe that's where some teams host their spring training at. I think the Braves are one of those teams.

I used to play. However, with my kids' activities, I haven't had time for the past several years to play. I do miss it.

When's your next church league game SV?

Played and coached in Northern Kentucky for 1971 til 1994 and gave it up. I loved the game and had alot of fun playing also in Ohio, Louisville and Lexington. JD

Yeah the Freaks a solid bat, I've had success with it and a Juggernaut the teams I play on have. I don't play in the Prestonsburg league but I have played on a couple of traveling teams this year and played in tournaments in P-Burg.

It was just a little team that was threw together to play in the tournament, finished one place out of third. I'm not even sure if It had a real team name or anything. A few guys in the Elkhorn City league needed me to play Short for them so I happily obliged. It was the tournament that came down to Nightstorm and the team from Ashland in the finals.

Yep, out of Bond, KY. Although not all their team members are from there. They usually have a team in league play and a different team for tournaments (except for a few members that are on both). They are usually pretty solid. I have played on teams that beat their league team, but we never beat their tournament team.

I don't play,but both of my Sons do.

I have played in the same tourneys with them afew times in the last 10+ and never knew they were named Bond because of there hometown, I guess I never really thought about it.
