SvFan4life
1. Joey Votto 2. Edison Volquez 3. Jay Bruce 4. Johnny Cueto 5. Edwin Encarnacion Anyone think that E-5 shouldn't have been on the list of untouchables? http://www.dispatch.com/live/content/sports/stories/2008/06/20/rumblings20.ART_ART_06-20-08_C3_VRAHQJE.html?sid=
Owlz Fan
I think E-5 shouldn't bee on the untouchables. Instead of him put Brandon Philliphs he is 10X better than E-5 will ever be.
malachicrunch
No Adam Dunn?? How will they ever replace his numbers? Looks like Jock may not be so enamored with the "Drunken Monkey".
HOMELESS CAMEL
E-5 has shown flashes of how good he can be, at the plate and in the field. He deserves to be on that list for now, he is still very young. I think the list needs to include BP and possibly Harang.
STRIKE3
Anytime, a player is labeled "untouchable/not tradeable", better look out and keep your bags packed.
Big Slick
I agree that means somebody or some people are headed out!
Nkysportsblog
I don't think that the Reds will be able to make any deals before the deadline.
SvFan4life
I don't think that the Reds will be able to make any deals before the deadline. That's pretty bold to say they will make not one move with over a month left till the deadline.

ColonelCrazy
No Adam Dunn?? How will they ever replace his numbers? Looks like Jock may not be so enamored with the "Drunken Monkey". Once again, I'll ask you: How many players in the major leagues can you expect to hit 40+ HR, drive in 100+ RBI, and draw 100+ Walks?
ColonelCrazy
I think, for the right price, they'd ship Edwin out of town. With Jolbert Cabrera playing decently well, Keppinger due back soon and Alex Gonzalez coming back at some point, I think the 3 of them could platoon at SS / 3B. With that said, it's encouraging to see that Jocketty sees what the rest of us see with the young talent in Cincinnati...

dmderringer10
No Harang?????? No Phillips????? If you havent noticed Harang is 3-10 making roughly 10 million per year. If its the right deal, you get his contract off the books in order to sign some of the young guys.
