I had heard that Stein was not playing LB. Any truth to this? It would seem odd if he did not.

 

I was told by an excellent source that Stein was told he would be playing OL and LB.

Not exactly sure but I believe DJ Hunter, Rashaad Palmer, and James Miller were selected from Holmes.

 

Actually the Holmes participants will be the following:

 

Terrence Clark TE/DE

Duriel Diggs LB

Rashaad Palmer RB/WR/DB

DJ Hunter FB/LB

James Miller QB/RB/DB

It won't be at Scott. I have heard that they traded away their turn in the rotation for a turn in 2011(?). Not sure the reason why if it was due to field or new coaching staff or what.

 

Scott did trade their turn to coach the game because the new coach was still assembling a staff and did not want a staff that has not worked together to ruin the experience for the players. This has nothing to do with where the game is played. It is being played at Scott.

I didn't know that about the coaching staff. Probably a good move. I do think the game is at Dixie, unless things have changed since reported last month since this article came out:

Very rarely will they use kids on both sides of the ball. I know back in 06 Ben Guidugli played both ways as did J. Smith but usually they have enough talent for each position that they don't need to have anyone go both ways.

 

OL is usually a need in these games though. If anything, it's usually linemen who go both ways.

I will now go with this Friday, June 7th at Dixie. (cross my fingers). I dont want to miss it.

I played both ways in '98 but that was out of necessity b/c we only had one TE. Spritzky loved to run the Ace set, so I actually wound up w/ more offensive snaps than defensive.
