The games against Newport could have went either way

I forgot about that run at end of the first half sorry.... Newport had a lot of sick girls last night and a short bench, they just ran out of steam going into the second half....

Newport held them good going into half only down by 1-2. They just ran out of steam in the 2nd half...

Who coaches them?

A school this size? Newport is not that big of a school anymore. Also, there is only one Freshman playing Frosh., JV, and significant mins Varsity.

They played at 4:30.... close game.... Newport lost by 1 in a thriller

The girls play Bellevue Saturday at Bellevue... This game means a lot to this team going in with it being their first game against them without Coach V

He is a pretty good guy

I think he will do a good job under the circumstances. Hopefully the team doesn't give up. They have a nice season going.

It's not official that Coach Vories left. He's waiting to see where he ends up with his new job. It is more than likely he won't be back though. Bramlage took over in his absence.
