Final Score without Moss?? OUCH!

Surprising because the Breds have been playing so well of late.

This is surprising. Ncc has been playing well of late.

what is the story on Moss?

Without Moss I though Tabor would have a field day. Who guarded her?

what is the story on Moss?

NCC must have gone (approximately) 5 for 1,000 from three point land.

They stuck with the three point "strategy" until the bitter end.

"You're going to have nights where you don't shoot the ball well," NewCath head coach Ron Dawn said.

This is true. But, when you recognize it as being one of those nights -- wouldn't you think about changing your strategy and maybe try to hammer the ball inside or work multiple press schemes to get some easy points off transition?

If Sandfoss is what makes your team go, and she is at her best in the transition game, why not give her a chance to do her thing by putting some pressure on the ball? NCC didn't do this until late in the game.

Ryle doesn't have a point guard. How hard is that to figure out? Why wouldn't you pressure them?

This was the first time I have seen NCC play this year. I expected a lot more. Maybe it was an off night. I have to wonder HOW they played Lexington Christian to a two point game?

Ryle has a solid team with or without Moss.

Ryle, NDA, NCC, Boone and Connor all have a great shot at knocking off the top Regional seed. 9th Region has a favorite but it will be a well earned prize whomever emerges victorious this season.

Congrats to Ryle on a timely win!

What happend to Moss?

I am surprised by them not pressing because they are very good at it. There have been coaches this year that said that NCC's press just baffles them, so why not press.

I have wondered that myself In the few games I have seen them Tabor doesn't seem to get the ball down low at all. It seems she could be a force. The team is very guard oriented. If that's all you have that's fine, but It just seems at times Tabor is wasted. I expected bigger things of her this year.

Congrats to Ryle!

I thought this game was one of the first in awhile where they played as a team! I agree that Ryle had too many turnovers and they need to really work on that. Jump had way too many turnovers at the point and doesn't get to shoot enough like I saw her in past games and even last year, she is a great shooter. Johnson had a great rebounding game which was impressive for being just an 8th grader. Everyone contributed which was great. The team is quick and hard to keep up with at times. The second half was really fun to watch. I look forward to watching them in upcoming years. Keep up the good job and good luck at districts.

Just saw in the paper that Tabor just had 4 points, she has got to be a bigger force inside with her size if NCC is going to compete in region.

TOO MANY TURNOVERS! Haven't seen the Breds play that poorly since December. The guards did get the ball inside but again resulted in a turnover for one reason or another. Every team has a bad game one time or another so hopefully this was the game for the Breds.

Ryle has a very good team and will be tuff for the next few years. Congrats to the Radiers.

Keep working hard Breds and finish strong this season!:ylsuper:
