Congrats to the West squad for the win.

Very disappointing effort by the Cov Cath coaches in this one... three practices about 1.5 hours per practice and should anyone be suprised by the outcome? Is this indicative on how they prepare the Blue Colonels for football games? I realize this sounds like a cheap shot, but many in the stands were saying the same thing... Part of the honor of playing in such games is meeting athletes who you lined up against all season and developing long lasting friendships.

 

The qb for the East tosses three, perhaps four interceptions and he plays the entire game at qb.... What's up with that? Seemed to me that the West showcased multiple qbs, wide receivers and lineman for the O and showcased multiple talents on D.

 

Perhaps a little more preparation for the game and a little bit of creativity on the running and passing game would have yielded a W for the East.

 

Hats off to all the players who were honored by playing in the contest last evening. The seniors provided a very exciting year in Northern Kentucky football this year. Also, Dixie did a very nice job in hosting the event.

 

I hope Detmer from Dixie will be OK from his shoulder injury. I understand he has hopes of playing for Thomas More College... Good luck son!

Excellent question... I really do not know. I have had two sons play in prior N. Ky. All-star games. I am not sure about the duration of the practice - but I know they had more than three and the practices were extremely organized.
