The BCS has been around 10 years. ESPN ranked the 10 Title teams from best to worst. Here's a link to that story to refresh your memory of the personel: Best of the BCS

I thought we'd take a poll here to see who BGPers think was the best. Give your reasons for your choice.

The 2001 Hurricanes IMHO... They were a dominating team.

I like the 02 Buckeyes. Clarett was the man back before he ruined his possible career. The title game was one of the most memorable college football game I remember watching.

The 2004 USC Team was loaded and fun to watch.

01 Miami was unstopable.

01 Canes, as bad as I hate da U, were ridiculous. NFL roster that year. 04 USC next. Vince Young would be the BCS MVP!

Tough call between 01 Canes and 04 Trojans. I went with the Trojans in the end. I didn't realize Tennessee was a BCS National Champion, I thought that came much later. Time Flys.

I remember UT won 23-16 over FSU.

Peerless Price was a beast in that game. He only had 4 catches, but he average liked 50 yards a catch.

Florida State or Miami either one...

I remember UT won 23-16 over FSU.

I remember the game and their Championship, I just didn't realize it was considered BCS in 1998.

I went with 2001 Miami. I didn't like them but they were very, very good and loaded with NFL players. After that I'd say 2004 USC and 2005 Texas.

I'll never forget Arkansas giving them the SEC Championship so that UT could even make it there. I've never seen a team give a game away like Arkansas did that one. Their QB stumbled and used the hand with the ball in it to stabilize himself, AND THEN LEFT THE BALL ON THE GROUND.

UT also received a gift from FSU in Marcus Outzen, who was making his third career start after Chris Weinke went down with an injury. Outzen looked like he couldn't throw five yards accurately, and all UT really had to do was blanket Warrick.

Voted for my USC Trojans!!!!

Everyone voting for the Luckeyes is off their rocker.

99 Noles.
