You may be right...I didn't get to see that one until it was on ESPN classic and it just isn't the same once you already know who won.

iPapi, you're quoting yourself. You aren't arguing with yourself too are you?:lol::lol:

Just kidding. It looks like 2001 Miami is the winner by a small margin over USC.

I almost voted that way myself for the same reason. However, looking back they should have been playing Auburn instead of Oklahoma. That was a year that the BCS didn't match the best two teams and USC looked better than they would have against Auburn.

If I am not mistaken, USC played Auburn in the first game that year and pasted them.

You are thinking of Va. Tech.

VPI and Auburn met in the bowl game.

:ylsuper:Canes unreal team Offense, Defense, everything they had it all and yes How many NFL players off that team. Hands down the best.:thumb:

That's right. USC pasted Auburn in the first game of '03, not '04.

2 team race IMO

Miami + USC

I'll take Miami.

Actually VPI only lost 24-13 (USC scored 10 points in the 4th to win it) and there was a controversial call in the 3rd Quarter that changed momentum in the Trojans favor.
