Not sure about Bundy, but Schrand is not a teacher so I would say no. They are for sure looking to hire a teacher.

 

Shawn Garnett is the JV coach at Conner and has been in the Boone Co school system for quite some time.

 

Pittman is the asst at CovCath currently. He was the JV coach at Boone Co before that. He is linked very closely to the Shining Star Sports program and does much of the recruiting for the NKY Shining Star HS teams.

At this point I think it is going to take alot of convincing by the administration to get any quality coach to step in.

 

It will fall in line with a couple of their other very questionable hires in some of their other sports, IMO

Im still hearing names like Pittman, Garnett, and Sullivan.

At this point, it doesn't really matter. The summer camp is mid way through and football is about to be in full gear. I am sure whoever the coach is would have liked to see members of his potential team perform in some summer camp games. This process took way too long, and for what reason?

Based on Boone Cty Schools reputation of "hiring within" I'll say Garnett.

Yes, He is a stud coach, will make Cooper very competive almost from the get go.

Congrats to Tim on the opportunity. I expect him to lay a solid foundation for the future.

I thought all along Tim was the best fit for this job. He's young energetic and relates very well with today's players. All that were mentioned here would have made good headcoaches but Tim was the right choice to start a program.

 

On a side note the administration must have done a good job on selling the program to him. Due to the length of this process I wondered if he would turn it down.
