Maybe it's just me, but a lot of the names that have been mentioned don't exactly fit the bill of "biggest impact all-time". To me, that would be a transfer that takes a team to state championship game/national ranking status.

Apparently you have never met Scott Walters. Big impact, very big impact. Just kidding if you are reading this Scott.

The 98-99 Clay Co. team which was coach Keith's last season. They got both of the Asher kids from Red Bird and the two 6'5 twins from OBI. I think they beat Harlan in the finals of the 13th that season.

Woody Asher from Red Bird to Clay County in the mid-80s.

Carlos Hurt from Texas to Moore for the 2000-01 season ... Moore didn't get out of a brutally tough region but Hurt made them into a pretty tough team.

Jim Mckenzie- Russell to Ashland 1961-1962

Aaron Dunaway from Frankfort to Henry Clay.

That team beat Bell County by 1 in te semifinals in a very tight game.

Clay Co. also got Angelo Smith from Red Bird in 00-01 season to help them make it to state that year.
